If the last gem lands on an empty pit on your side, and the opposite pit (or the opponent's pit adjacent to yours) has gems in it, you get to collect all the gems in both pits and place them into your Mancala. This continues until your gem lands on your opponent's side. When the last gem lands on your side, then it is still your move to make. Every time you pick the gems from a pit, the gems will be distributed into the next pits in a counterclockwise direction. The gems that you can move should only come from your side. Your side is the six holes closest to you, and your. stones in each hole until the stones run out. Moving counter-clockwise, the player deposits one of the. pieces in any one of the holes on his side. The board is divided into two parts: Your side and mancala, and your opponent's side and mancala. Each player has a 'store' to the right side of the Mancala board. You will see two rows of six 'holes', with a long 'mancala' on each end. You will be playing against an opponent and will take turns in choosing which set of gems you will be moving. Before the game begins, place the board between you and your opponent, long side facing you. The player who captures more stones in his Mancala pot wins. The object of the game is to get as much gems as you can into your mancala. The game ends when all six holes (pots) on one side of the Mancala board are empty.
